To keep your Bamboo Japanese Bento Set in good condition it is important to not allow it to in water for extended periods of time as the bento box is made from a biodegradable wood product that will absorb moisture and can damage the biodegradable glues used. Always wash with a warm damp cloth and drying thoroughly after rinsing clean and never put in the dishwasher or microwave oven.
