Description

Care for your Cast Iron Sukiyaki & Gyoza Pan (280mm) by allowing the cast iron body to cool before cleaning. Wash gently by hand with warm water and a soft brush, then dry immediately and thoroughly to help prevent rust. If the cooking surface is seasoned rather than enamelled, apply a light coating of cooking oil after drying. Wipe the wooden lid with a damp cloth and dry it promptly, avoiding prolonged soaking or direct heat. Store both pieces in a dry, ventilated place to preserve their appearance and performance.

How to Use

To use the Cast Iron Sukiyaki & Gyoza Pan (280mm), begin by placing it on a suitable stovetop and warming gradually over moderate heat. For sukiyaki, add your broth or sauce, then arrange sliced ingredients and simmer gently until cooked. For gyoza, add a little oil, position the dumplings flat side down, and cook until their bases are golden. Add a small splash of water and cover briefly to steam, keeping the wooden lid away from direct flame. Bring the pan to the table on a heat resistant trivet, using protection for the hot handles.
