Description
To care for the Kutani & Chidori Porcelain Chopstick Rest, handle it gently to preserve the porcelain surface and colourful painted detailing. After use, wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge, avoiding abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that may affect the glossy finish. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth before storing. Keep it securely stored away from heavier tableware that could cause chips or damage. Subtle variations in colour are a natural characteristic of the painted design.
How to Use
Using the Kutani & Chidori Porcelain Chopstick Rest is simple, begin by positioning it beside your plate or bowl as part of a Japanese style table setting. Place your chopsticks horizontally across the rest when pausing between bites or before and after your meal. This keeps the chopstick tips elevated from the table while creating a neat and considered presentation. Its compact porcelain form complements everyday meals, bento lunch settings, special occasions, and traditionally inspired Japanese dining arrangements.
