The Jubako Bento Box 3-Tiered & Flower Decoration is a traditional Japanese bento with an elaborate black lacquer finish. A very popular item in Japan that dates back to the early 18th century and has been passed on through generations of artisans. Jubako is a traditional Japanese lacquered bento box used for food presentation, often used during new year’s celebrations to serve traditional Japanese foods, called osechi ryori, which are said to bring good luck for the upcoming year.
