Dolsot is a term used to describe Korean stoneware manufactured from fine clay or stone. Additionally, some refer to it as Gop-dol and encounter this for the first time when they order their first Dolsot Bibimbap. It’s extremely intriguing to hear the sizzling sound of the food being presented at your table. There are many various styles of these stone bowls, but they all serve the same purpose: they keep your meal very hot, most likely until you eat your last mouthful. When you pair Bibimbap or other Rice on the Rocks alternatives with stir-fried meals, the nicest part about these stone bowls is that the rice on the bottom becomes incredibly crispy and delectable as you scrape down your last few mouthfuls.
