A popular item in Japan dating back to the early 18th century and passed down through generations of artisans. Jubako is a traditional Japanese lacquered bento box used for food presentation. It is frequently used during new year’s celebrations to serve traditional Japanese foods known as osechi ryori, which are said to bring good luck for the coming year.

- Remove excess foods with a damp cloth that has been rinsed in warm soapy water.
- Towel try and stack in a dry ventilated area.
- Do immerse in water or allow pools of water accumulate in wooden products.
- Stubborn stains, mix a small amount of salt or baking soda into the damp cloth and gently clean the surface.
