Description
The traditional Kinsai Series ramen spoon is known in Japanese as chirirenge, or simply renge, and translates to “fallen lotus petal.” It is flat and deep, with a groove in the handle going to the base. When eating ramen, you use your left hand to hold the spoon and your right hand to handle the chopsticks. By maintaining the spoon below your trail of noodles as you remove them out of the bowl, you may utilise it almost like a safety net.
