Description
Keep the Kurocha Bamboo Placemat looking its best by wiping the surface gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth after use. Avoid soaking the bamboo, placing it in a dishwasher, or using abrasive cleaners, as excess moisture and harsh products may affect the woven fibres and finish. Allow the placemat to air dry completely in a flat position before storing. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight, high heat, and damp environments. Store flat or loosely rolled to help preserve its shape and prevent unnecessary stress on the woven construction.
How to Use
To use the Kurocha Bamboo Placemat, begin by placing it flat on a clean, dry tabletop before arranging your tableware. Centre a dinner plate, bowl, or bento lunch setting over the woven surface, allowing the dark brown bamboo to frame the presentation. Pair it with ceramic dishes, wooden chopsticks, or glassware to create a balanced Japanese style table setting. For shared meals, position one placemat at each seat with consistent spacing. After dining, lift away crumbs, wipe the surface as needed, and allow it to dry before storing.
