Description
The Daidai Bamboo Placemat should be cleaned gently after use to preserve its woven finish, colour, and natural bamboo texture. Wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then allow it to air dry completely while lying flat. Avoid soaking, dishwasher cleaning, harsh detergents, or abrasive sponges, as excess moisture and friction may weaken the fibres or affect the finish. Keep the placemat away from prolonged direct sunlight and strong heat sources. Store it flat in a dry place to help maintain its shape and vibrant orange appearance.
How to Use
To use the Daidai Bamboo Placemat, begin by placing it flat on a clean, dry table before arranging your setting. Centre a dinner plate, bowl, or bento lunch on the woven surface so the orange bamboo remains visible around the tableware. Pair it with neutral ceramics, wooden chopsticks, or glassware to let the vivid Daidai colour stand out naturally. For a coordinated Japanese style table, position one placemat at each seat with even spacing. After dining, remove crumbs and wipe away light spills before allowing the placemat to dry fully for storage.
